How Applied IQ collects, stores, and handles your data.
01
Overview.
This policy explains what information Applied IQ, Inc. ("Applied IQ," "we," "us") collects when you visit appliediq.ai or use our beta product at beta.appliediq.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for the information described here.
Applied IQ is a Delaware corporation. Our primary market is the United States and Canada. Visitors from the European Union and other jurisdictions are welcome on the site, but our service is not directed at EU residents and we do not provide a regional data-protection representative. EU visitors who want to exercise data-protection rights should contact us using the details in section 13.
02
Information we collect.
We collect information in three ways.
Information you give us directly.
When you book a setup call, write to us, or sign up for the beta product, you give us identifying information such as your name, work email, company, and any context you choose to share in a message or call form. When you book a call through the embedded Google Calendar widget, Google collects the information needed to schedule the meeting (name, email, time slot) and shares it with us.
Information collected automatically.
When you visit the website, we and our infrastructure providers collect basic technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP. This information is collected to operate the site, defend against abuse, and understand aggregate traffic. See section 6 for cookie details.
Information from beta product use.
If you use the beta product, we collect the account names, URLs, and any context you provide so the platform can produce a Sales Intelligence Report. We also store the generated reports, agent chat transcripts, and outreach drafts associated with your account. We do not sell this data, and we do not use customer-input data to train third-party models.
03
How we use information.
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the website and the beta product, including authenticating users and producing reports you request.
- Respond to messages, schedule and conduct setup calls, and follow up on inquiries.
- Improve the product and the website by analyzing aggregate usage patterns.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.
We do not run advertising on the website. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
05
Sub-processors.
The following sub-processors handle data on our behalf in the V1 stack:
- Vercel. Hosting and content delivery for the marketing site and the beta product. United States. Privacy policy.
- Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights. Privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics for the marketing site. Aggregated traffic patterns; no individual tracking. United States. Same Vercel privacy policy as above.
- Google Calendar (Appointment Schedules). Embedded booking widget on the setup-call page. Collects scheduling information when you book a call and may set third-party cookies necessary for the booking flow. United States. Privacy policy.
- GitHub. Source repository for the website. GitHub does not see visitor data; it stores the code that produces the site. United States. Privacy policy.
We will update this list when sub-processors change. Material additions or removals will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
07
Data retention.
- Setup-call data. Information collected through the setup-call booking flow (name, email, scheduling details, any context you share) is retained until the call is complete plus ninety days, after which it is deleted unless you have become a customer or have asked us to keep in touch.
- Email correspondence. Messages sent to info@appliediq.ai or any other Applied IQ address are retained as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the conversation, typically for two years.
- Analytics data. Vercel Web Analytics retains aggregate data per Vercel's defaults. We do not retain individual visitor records.
- Beta product data. Account inputs, generated reports, and agent transcripts are retained for the life of your beta access. If you stop using the beta or ask us to delete your data, we will delete it within thirty days.
08
Your rights.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop processing it for non-essential purposes. To make any of these requests, email info@appliediq.ai with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you'd like us to do. We will respond within thirty days.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA).
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email us as above and we will verify your identity before acting on the request.
Canadian residents (PIPEDA).
If you are in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to challenge its accuracy. Email us using the address above to make a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Other jurisdictions.
If you are an EU, UK, or other resident with rights under your local data-protection law, contact us using the email above. We will work in good faith to respond within the timelines required by the applicable law, even though our service is not primarily directed at your jurisdiction.
09
Security.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. Site traffic is served over HTTPS. Source code is stored in private GitHub repositories. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent to us will not be intercepted or accessed in transit.
If you discover a vulnerability or have a security concern, please email info@appliediq.ai with the subject line "Security disclosure." We appreciate responsible disclosure.
10
International transfers.
Applied IQ is based in the United States, and our sub-processors process data in the United States. If you visit the site or use the beta product from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than the country you live in. By using the site or the product, you consent to that transfer.
11
Children's privacy.
Applied IQ is a B2B product for sales teams. The site and the beta product are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12
Changes to this policy.
We will update this policy as our product, our sub-processors, or applicable law changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and we will notify customers of substantive changes by email when reasonable.
